Levels of Participation in the FT$ Alliance

Core Group: 10-12 people

• Existing founding members
  
• Representatives of member organizations who are authorized to be active in furthering the public message of our concerns about Avon and other breast cancer fundraising efforts of mutual concern through attending meetings, conducting public outreach, distributing press releases, maintaining a website presence on FT$ issues, constituent mailings, and email alerts.

Requirement for core group membership:

• Willing to commit to participation in monthly conference calls.
  
• Ability to cover a share of the expense of work of the FT$ Alliance: conference calls; printing; mailings, etc.
  
• Approved for membership by 2/3 of the founding members of the Alliance
  
• Designation of a representative and alternate to stay informed on Alliance issues.
  
• Willingness to reach out to other breast cancer organizations to inform them about the Alliance’s efforts and solicit their support.
  

Supporters – Unlimited Individuals and organizations who agree to:

• Endorse the goals of the FT$
  
• Include their name in print materials and on website materials related to FT$
  
• Be included in email action lists, updates and requests for support of additional FT$ activities
  
• Distribute news and materials about FT$ activities to other individuals and organizations
  
• Participate in public demonstrations
