Seeking Board Members

The MBCC is currently receiving nominations to its Board of Directors. We are a board that works closely with our Executive Director and staff in setting and implementing policy, fundraising, education and advocacy.

The MBCC was founded in 1990 by women concerned with the lack of attention to the breast cancer epidemic. In the past ten years we have been successful in raising awareness of this disease, advocating for increased research into environmental links to breast cancer, and securing funding for research, as well as supporting important legislation for access to breast cancer treatment for all women.

We are interested in potential board members who share our philosophy, enthusiasm and commitment, and who represent diversity in terms of age, geographic location, race and sexual orientation.

If you are interested in serving as a board member, please contact our office at 1-800-649-6222 for further information and a nomination form.

Thank you for your interest.
